Always cool UK rapper MIA recently released a video supporting H&M’s new take-back initiative called Garment Collecting. In celebration of World Recycle Week, the international retail brand is encouraging customers to leave unwanted garments at any of its +36000 stores around the world in an attempt to “reduce textile waste and [turn] old textile fibers into new yarn. We want to create new clothes out of the collected garments and close the loop on textile fibers,” proclaims its website. Get ready to do some Spring cleaning and give your clothes a second life.
